In 1987, Charles L. Nault founded Atrion Networking Corporation on four important business principles: honesty, integrity, value, and giving back to the community. In the first few years, Atrion experienced slow and steady growth, and soon became known as the true partner businesses and organizations could rely on for all of their networking needs.
In November of 1989, Tim Hebert joined Atrion as the Chief Operating Officer. Together, Charlie and Tim became convinced that the industry needed an infusion of “old fashioned” values like hard work, determination, a passion for service and an undying devotion to be there for its clients. These “old fashioned” values became the vision for Atrion – and they still guide the company today.
By the early 1990s, Atrion began delivering value to clients through its unique blend of product and service offerings, while closely mapping products and services to its clients' needs and priorities-such as productivity, cost savings, return on investment and efficiency improvements.
To further meet its clients' needs, Atrion created its Customer Advisory Board (CAB) in early 2000. The CAB is a forum for Atrion’s clients to give feedback to the Atrion leaders and technicians. The CAB also gives Atrion client-guided direction and a chance to listen to the concerns and issues facing clients in a competitive marketplace.
The Customer Advisory Board has helped Atrion design and implement groundbreaking industry-leading processes and service packages. Since the CAB, Atrion has implemented a stronger and more reliable implementation process and its unique Atrion Approach, a four-step methodology that controls every aspect of the service-delivery process.
Atrion’s business savvy, industry knowledge, and passion for client service has contributed to its steady growth.
Revenues have grown steadily even through some very difficult economic periods. In fiscal year 2003 revenues were $17.5 million, in 2004 revenues climbed to $25 million, in 2005 revenues remained even at around $26 million, and in 2006 revenues rose to $28 million. Today, Atrion is on track to exceed $32 million. With over 20 years of experience, Atrion has a proven track record for delivering solutions to their clients that are reliable, that fit into today's IT budgets, and that scale well into the future.
In October 2006, Tim Hebert assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer. Tim has been a driving force in the information and networking technology industry and has led Atrion’s growth through the years.
Atrion Networking Corporation is privately held, and has its headquarters in Warwick, RI. The company also has sales offices in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, and New Hampshire. In addition, Atrion is also a 1nService Member company.
