Warwick, R.I. – May 15, 2012 – Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading IT Services Provider, today announces it has been selected as one of the Best Place to Work in Rhode Island 2012. This is the 3nd consecutive year the company has received the award. Atrion is one of 13 selected in the large company category.
The 40 winning companies will be honored at a dinner to be held Thursday, June 14th at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick. Rankings within each category will be revealed then.
This marks the 7th year of the program and partnership between Providence Business News and Best Companies Group, an independent research organization that facilitates the competition’s survey process for each entrant, and analyzes the data to determine winners.
The annual Best Places to Work in Rhode Island program distinguishes companies who demonstrate, and are superior, in workplace excellence. “Our employees are the ones that make Atrion a best place to work and we are honored to be recognized as one of 2012 Best Place to Work in Rhode Island,” said Tim Hebert, CEO of Atrion.
The winners were chosen based on responses to a management questionnaire as well as a confidential employee survey. More than 65% of Atrion employees responded to the survey’s 72-question submission form. This employee-based award reflects the personal investment, enjoyment, and work-place satisfaction of Atrion’s staff members.
The 40 companies selected as the 2012 Best Places To Work were divided into three groups based on the number of employees – large employers were those with 150 or more employees, medium employers had between 50 and 149 local workers and small employers had 15 to 49 employees.
The awards dinner will be held to recognize the 2012 Best Places to Work in Rhode Island winners from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Providence-Warwick on June 14.
